Assignment:
This is a school assignment from my last trimester in Griffith University.
The school assignment involved identifying a problem in the world that one would like to solve and proposing a graphic design-based solution to address it. The problem could either be a major global issue or a minor everyday annoyance.
The problem I chose to tackle is: The complication of planning a trip online.
Purpose statement:
My purpose is to address the issue of a messy and confusing system of travel planning online by creating an application that streamlines the user experience by combining all the
different sources into one common space. I consider the current system to be very confusing and hard to manage as you have to go back and forth between several competing providers.
Vision statement:
I envision a future where travel companies can work together and drag each other up rather than down. Instead they work against each other and confuse their customers by
providing them with diverse and misleading information.
Mission statement:
I will create a simple trip planning application, with a more personalized approach that allows you to journal your holiday plans, because some people just need a clear space to note down their plans in order to get a better overview of their options.
